UJ EFFSC Food Petition Gets No Support During Festive Season

The Food For All petition launched by UJ Kingsway’s EFF Student Command has received no new signatures since the last person to sign the petition did so on the 22nd of December last year.

The petition, which was launched on the 28th November 2017. So far the petition has only been signed by a total of 84 people, all of whom signed it before the Festive Season began.

The petition was launched to “put pressure” on the university to change their policy on food allowances.

The change would benefit NSFAS funded students studying at for first, second year and Honours level who do not receive food allowance.
